Rangers have enjoyed a good training session ahead of their Scottish Cup replay against Kilmarnock tomorrow, midfielder Jordan Thompson claims.
Mark Warburton’s men were held to a 0-0 draw at Ibrox by the Premiership side in the original tie and now have a replay at Rugby Park on the agenda as they bid to continue their cup progress.
Thompson, who has regularly been included in matchday squads by Warburton, says Rangers are preparing for the tie well.
The young midfielder took to social media to post a photograph of himself in training with his team-mates, getting ready for the Killie test.
And he wrote: “Good session this morning ahead of tomorrow’s cup game.”
Rangers head into the cup replay on the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw away at the Championship’s bottom club Alloa Athletic and on a run where goals are hard to come by.
Meanwhile Kilmarnock, who have just appointed Lee Clark as their new manager, beat Motherwell 2-0 to move up to tenth spot in the Premiership standings.
