Rangers are subject to takeover interest from Leeds United owners San Francisco 49ers.
Paraag Marathe, the President of 49ers Enterprises and Executive Vice President of Football Operations, is understood to be the one backing the takeover of the Ibrox outfit.
Discussions have been ongoing since the start of the year and a deal is there to be done.
