RANGERS legend Andy Goram has been appointed as a coach at League One side Airdrieonians.
The Goalie will work alongside 18-year-old shot-stopper Rohan Ferguson as he prepares for his first campaign between the sticks for the Diamonds.
And the former Scotland keeper is determined to play his part in helping the Lanarkshire side as they bid for promotion to the Championship next term.
Goram said: “He got a taste of the big time last season when he was Man of the Match in the Scottish Cup tie against Dundee United and he is desperate for more of that.
“My job here is to help him realise his potential and I am thrilled that I will be back on a training pitch where I feel I belong.
“I am also very keen to work with the goalkeeping coaches and keepers throughout the Club.
“The move to Ravenscraig and full-time football shows the ambition there is at Airdrieonians now.”
