RANGERS are closing in on a deal for Steven Gerrard as the Liverpool legend sets his sights on the Ibrox hotseat.
Gerrard confirmed on Tuesday that he had held ‘positive’ talks with the Light Blues about succeeding Graeme Murty as manager.
