The Kilmarnock boss was disappointed in Gerrard for accusing him of making a classless attempt to get Jermain Defoe banned from today’s Scottish Cup showdown at Rugby Park.
Clarke had referred to – but not personally named – Defoe’s recent controversy, when he was accused of diving to earn a penalty against St Mirren, during a speech demanding more consistency from referees.
Defoe wasn’t cited by SFA compliance officer
