STEVEN GERRARD reckons there are shades of Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher in the way defender Connor Goldson approaches the game.

The Englishman has been an integral part of Gerrard’s side this term since making the move north of the border from Brighton in the summer.

Goldson missed several months of action
