The 37-year-old Rangers goalkeeper was given his marching orders by referee Bobby Madden with a minute to play of normal time at Ibrox after kicking out at Marc McNulty.
As he kicked the ball upfield out of his hands, McGregor stamped on McNulty’s back and then feigned injury to try and trick match official Madden.
Yet McGregor’s indiscipline was caught out and he had to be replaced in goal
