Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has insisted that centre-back Leon Balogun is someone the Gers are keen on holding on to and they will look to activate the option in this contract to extend his stint beyond the current campaign.
Balogun arrived at Ibrox in the last transfer window from League One club Wigan Athletic, putting pen to paper on a one-year-deal.
The centre-back has so far racked up 18 appearances
