Rangers player reached verbal agreement to leave – Now waiting for club to return or alternative

Lille have Rangers’ Hamza Igamane in their target list for this summer, with has been covered in France over the past few weeks.

On July 1st, Sacha Tavolieri reported the Ligue 1 club were in talks with Rangers over a move for the Ibrox striker.

Later that month, La Voix du Nord reported Lille have to dig deep to secure the 22-year-old’s services as Rangers are requesting €20m.

Lille haven’t found an agreement with the Scottish club yet and Foot Mercato covers their interest in Igamane, in a report that focuses on Ligue 1 sides who could improve their attack in this window.

The Morocco international reached a verbal agreement with Lille. However, they haven’t met the €15m price [€5m less than what was reported by La Voix du Nord last month] set by Russell Martin’s side.

It’s claimed Igamane wants to move to France, but Lille haven’t returned yet.

According to Foot Mercato, the possibility of Igamane joining a Ligue 1 side ‘remains real’ as several unnamed clubs are keen. He needs to wait to see whether Lille will push forward to sign him or look for another option in France.
