Former Rangers favourite Jermain Defoe has left his first managerial job after just 116 days, citing it was “impossible” for him to continue in the role.
Defoe, 43, took his first permanent manager’s role in March when he was appointed boss of English fifth-tier side Woking, taking charge of the club’s final six games, winning two, drawing three and losing just once
