Aberdeen forced to pay for ticket reduction for League Cup semi final

Aberdeen have been sanctioned by the SPFL with a reduction of 500 tickets for the Premier Sports Cup semi-final against Rangers on October 31.
They will need to pay for the withheld tickets in what is a further blow for the Pittodrie club.
The punishment from the SPFL follows ‘supporter misconduct’ during their quarter-final win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park earlier this month.
