Joleon Lescott has turned down a move to Rangers from Aston Villa.
The centre-back had been poised to link up with Mark Warburton’s men, with Aston Villa paying off part of the remaining year of his contract at Villa Park and allowing him to leave for free.
Lescott was even claimed to be heading to Glasgow for a medical and to seal the deal, but the move is now off.
