If you read the blog over the summer you’ll know I had high hopes for Cyriel Dessers. Two seasons ago he was top scorer in the Europa Conference League. Then last season he managed six Serie A goals in a struggling Cremonese side.
The fee may have been high but there was definitely an air of expectation when he signed.
