Rangers Technical Director Dan Purdy has resigned after 15 months at Ibrox as the club dismantles an Everton-linked recruitment framework ahead of the January transfer window.

The 32-year-old followed former colleague Kevin Thelwell to Glasgow last summer, surviving the sporting director’s November dismissal to oversee 30 signings. His departure marks the final unwinding of that initial scouting structure under the American ownership consortium.
