Frank Lampard: Rangers job “great opportunity” for Steven Gerrard
via Soccernet Nigeria |
Frank Lampard has tipped Steven Gerrard to take over as Rangers manager, describing it as a “great opportunity” for his former England teammate.
Gerrard is understood to have been offered the top job at Ibrox following Tuesday morning’s news that interim boss Graeme Murty has left the role.
The 37-year-old’s only previous coaching experience has come at Liverpool, where he has spent nearly a year managing the Under-18s side.
