Rangers defender Gareth McAuley has revealed that he had the option to stay in the Premier League after leaving West Brom, but decided to make the switch to Ibrox instead.
McAuley, who left West Brom after his contract expired in the summer, made his full debut for Rangers during the 3-0 win over Livingston on Saturday in the Scottish Premiership.
The defender has now fully recovered from a calf problem
