That’s the view of former Rangers star Christian Dailly with Defoe set to make the move to Ibrox.
It’s believed former England star Defoe will join Rangers on an 18-month loan deal from AFC Bournemouth.
Defoe, 36, has found his first-team chances limited with the Cherries this season though Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has insisted that the deal is not confirmed yet.
