Rangers centre-back Clint Hill has revealed that Ryan Nelsen is the best defender he has ever had the privilege of playing alongside, dubbing the New Zealander “outstanding”.
Hill joined Rangers on a free transfer from Queens Park Rangers in the summer after spending six seasons at Loftus Road.
At QPR, the 38-year-old played alongside Nelsen, who was snapped up by the Hoops after a disappointing spell at Tottenham Hotspur.
