Beale arrived in Glasgow on Sunday after Rangers agreed to pay the release clause in his contract with QPR.
Talks were ongoing between the 42-year-old and the Scottish giants for a while after they received permission from the Championship club.
Rangers are now closing in on finalising his arrival as their new manager and an announcement is likely to be made today.
