After a poor Champions League campaign and falling nine points behind league leaders Celtic, the Glasgow club sacked Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

On Monday, Rangers confirmed that they have appointed Michael Beale as the successor to Van Bronckhorst.

The 42-year-old previously worked at Ibrox as Steven Gerrard’s first team coach and helped Rangers clinch the Scottish Premiership title in 2020/21 season.
