Rangers are edging ever closer to securing the arrival of promising Real Betis defender Nobel Mendy, with reports confirming that the 20-year-old is scheduled to undergo a medical in Barcelona tomorrow ahead of penning a four-year contract at Ibrox.

Rangers and Betis have reportedly agreed a fee of £2.5 million, including a 20% sell-on clause benefitting Betis in the event of a future profit-making sale. On the continent, sources suggest a slightly higher valuation of €3 million, aligning with the same sell-on terms
