Hearts, Rangers and Celtic are amongst the clubs impacted by the changes to the Premiership’s calendarA total of 13 Premiership fixtures have been moved due to Celtic and Hearts’ European commitments alongside six battles picked for TV.The champions will contest the Europa League this term in the league phase while Hearts are in the Conference League equivalent. Those matches are on Thursday nights so that means several Celtic matches in the league due to their eight-game Europa run that extends into January have been moved.Hearts meanwhile are in the Conference League until Christmas at least and several of their games have been moved too. TV selections have also been made for games next month, starting with Motherwell vs Celtic, moved to October 11, instead of the original October 10 date.Read MoreWhat Scottish Premiership games have been selected for TV?That will be screened by Sky Sports with a lunchtime kick-off ahead of Premier Sports beaming Aberdeen vs St Johnstone from Pittodrie two hours later. Dundee vs Rangers will be the next Sky game six days later in an evening kick-off under the lights at Dens Park and Hearts’ first game at Celtic Park since last season’s final match when Martin O’Neill’s team claimed title glory will also be shown that weekend.The following weekend sees Hibs hosting Celtic on Sky with Hearts’ trip to Motherwell following that on Premier Sports. Fixtures beyond the weekend of October 24/25 remain subject to change for live broadcast but the likes of Hearts vs Celtic at Tynecastle on November 29 are now marked for Sunday matches.
