Manchester United are set to sanction their first permanent departure of the summer, with young midfielder Charlie McCann reportedly expected to sign for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.
It is believed that the 19-year-old will initially join the Scottish side’s B team in a £750,000 deal.
However, Gerrard has plans for McCann to step up to his senior side in the next 12 months.
McCann joined the Red Devils from Coventry City
