Rangers midfielder Joey Barton ‘signed off with stress’
via Soccernet Nigeria |
Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has reportedly been signed off with stress since Friday.
The 34-year-old returned to training last Thursday after serving a suspension for his involvement in a training ground bust-up with teammate Andy Halliday.
Barton, who has not played since the Gers’ 5-1 defeat to arch rivals Celtic on September 10, was ordered to train with the academy players upon his return rather than with the first team.
