Gerrard was appointed Gers manager last Friday, signing a three-year contract.
It is the Liverpool legend’s first step into management after retiring from the professional game in 2016.
Butcher understands it will be a tough ask for Gerrard to overtake rivals Celtic straight away.
But he believes if given enough funds, the former England captain can
