Joey Barton is to return to training with Rangers on Thursday, but it will only be with the Under-20s side.
The 34-year-old midfielder, who signed a £1m per year, two-year deal in the summer transfer window, has recently been serving a club suspension following a training ground clash with team-mate Andy Halliday.
