New Rangers signings – winger Harry Forrester and goalkeeper Maciej Gostomski – are available for the Scottish Cup fourth round tie.

Andy Halliday is also free to play after winning an appeal against the red card he received against Hibernian.

Dean Brett returns from injury for Cowdenbeath but Andy Murdoch’s loan from Rangers has expired.

Teenager Jamie Sneddon will take the gloves despite the League One side signing two goalkeepers this week.

Romanian Alin Roman impressed as a trialist and will be on the bench for the visitors, while Grant Adam, who began his career at Rangers, has returned for a second spell with the Blue Brazil but is cup-tied.

Rangers manager Mark Warburton: ”

We spoke about the need to go to the next level as a club, both players and staff. Our level of preparation for Hibs was superb.

“I was really happy with it all around the club from the coaching, analysis and logistical sides – everything was done the right way, and that is the norm for us now.

“For Cowdenbeath, nothing will change, so hopefully the level of detail will continue to get ever higher, and the players will demand ever more.

“Hibs certainly showed we can perform – we were dominant in that game and were more-than deserved victors, likewise at Dumbarton.

“Now our focus must be to maintain that consistency against Cowdenbeath and onwards in the league.”

Cowdenbeath manager Colin Nish:

“Playing Rangers away from home is a really tough tie but we have told the boys to enjoy everything about the game.

“We will go there looking to win but the expectation levels are not massive and we have put no pressure on the boys other than to go there and apply themselves correctly.”
