The former Hull City and Cardiff City goalkeeper is back at Rangers under Derek McInnes.Rangers have confirmed the return of club hero Allan McGregor as he becomes lead goalkeeper coach under new manager Derek McInnes.The 44-year-old returned to the Premiership side briefly as part of Barry Ferguson’s interim backroom team in 2025, but over a year on, has been permanently added to McInnes’ coaching ranks. He replaces Sal Bibbo who recently moved to English Premier League side Coventry City.McGregor won four leagues titles across two spells at Rangers, alongside becoming a four-time Scottish Cup winner and lifting the League Cup on five occasions, featuring for Scotland, Cardiff City, Hull City and others in an impressive playing career.
