Defender was due to depart Ibrox but deal now hangs in balance

Rangers defender John Souttar’s proposed move to Greece is on the brink of collapse.

The Scotland international looked set for an Ibrox exit after agreeing a three-year contract with Aris Thessaloniki.

The Scottish transfer window has closed but Aris can still sign players due to the Greek window remaining open until September 15.
