Gerrard is in talks with Rangers over becoming their new manager.
The Liverpool U-18s coach has confirmed discussions are underway and suggested an update would be given on Thursday.
Rangers are yet to confirm the appointment, which would see Gerrard take over at the end of the season.
Numerous former coaches and team-mates of Gerrard have had their say on the ex-England star taking up the role at Ibrox.
