That is the opinion of Newcastle boss and former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez.
Gerrard has signed a four-year deal with Rangers and will start his first managerial job on June 1.
The former England captain played under seven different bosses during his illustrious career at Liverpool.
Benitez, who was one of the seven, believes Gerrard will have learnt plenty which he can take into his new career.
