Rangers development squad coach Graeme Murty has lauded Borna Barisic’s ability and believes the Croatian needed the playing time with the Under-20s side on Monday.
Barisic featured for 45 minutes as Rangers ran out comfortable 5-0 win against Kilmarnock to stretch their lead at the top of the SPFL Reserve League to five points.
The 26-year old has not featured for the Rangers senior side since the defeat against Livingston
