Four Scottish sides could play in Conference League matches

Hibs will face either IFK Goteborg or Gent should they advance to the play-off round of the Conference League, while Motherwell would face a stern test against German Bundesliga opposition in Freiburg.

The draw for the final qualifying round of Europe’s third-tier competition was made on Monday afternoon in Nyon – with four Scottish sides involved.

Hibs and Motherwell have been Scotland’s main participants
